Christ’s victory is you and me. The Lord Jesus’ sacrifice, and triumph at Calvary, isn’t only about destroying the devil; I do not believe that it is primarily about that either. However I do believe that it is about rescuing the people whom God created and desired for Himself.

Those whom He chose in Christ before the foundation of the world, those for whom His Kingdom was prepared before the foundation of the world. This is about Christ the Savior and the souls who He is here to save. Your salvation is the victory that Christ has sent forth!

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians 1:4)

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” (Matthew 25:34)

He has judged victory for your life! Victory for your circumstances! He hasn’t judged you unworthy, He has judged you victorious in and through Him!

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

The words “Be For Us” mean in the Greek translation that God is: “Over” us; also that the Lord Jesus Christ is “(exceeding, abundantly) above, beyond” us.

This made me really consider how Jesus Christ, the King of kings, is seated high above and way beyond any other power imaginable; nothing & no one can ever touch the authority that this victorious Lord has.

Psalm 97:9 says “For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.”

Psalm 99:2 says “The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.”

Ephesians 1:21 tells us that Jesus Christ is “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”

Nothing compares to the God we serve! No one, and no thing, can touch Him! He is light years above and beyond every power; every devil trembles at the mention of my Saviour’s name, and has no choice but to bow before Him!

His power and compassion is unfathomably greater than any physical sickness, any emotional affliction or any mental disorder. He is the only all-powerful Healer, Deliverer and Restorer of life, health, peace and happiness.

That same God is on our side; Jesus Christ is actively for whosoever will look to Him by faith in His word today!

The heaven of heavens cannot contain our King: “But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!” (II Chronicles 6:18)

If this Almighty, all loving and limitless Saviour is on our side, who and what could possibly come against us? The answer is nobody, and no thing; as long as I hold onto Jesus Christ, I will experience success through every trial in my walk with God, because He has won every victory for me.
